This bio was really in need of an update. The last time I updated it, things were a lot different in my life than they are now. So, a retrospective.

When I first started this journal -- which lately is really less of a journal and more a place to just spew random facts, freak out about things that are important to me, and post vague hints to inside jokes for my own amusement -- I was still slugging my way through college, living with my fiance in my father's house, and dreaming about a future that I didn't know how to make come true. Things were either really good, or really bad, with no comforting middle ground.

Nowadays, so much has changed, and yet so much remains the same. I'm no longer engaged, nor am I even with him at all.

In fact, I recently (most probably) lost my mind and am now seeing a guy who lives 4,000 miles away from me. I always said that I wouldn't do long distance again after what happened with the ex, but my resolve on that issue broke immediately when I met him. So here we are. I find the whole thing slightly ironic, entirely thrilling, and very much what I need and want right now. He's a fluffy bunny, too, don't let him tell you otherwise. ;D Ended badly. Let's try that again.

In fact, I recently started dating a guy who I know from high school and hadn't seen (for more than five minutes, down at the 'bucks) since I graduated. The one guy from high school who, if you told me down the line I'd be with, I'd have laughed long and hard in your face, even. Wonders never cease. At any rate, he's amazing, and hopefully this one will last longer than Irish did. :P

I am still at my childhood home, having moved out and moved back in a few times over the years. I'm currently working at a credit union looking for a new job since quitting the credit union, dreaming of when I might be able to get out of the house again and live on my own. I have two three! nieces who I am enjoying watching grow up, and a really rockin' best friend who I get on with like nobody's business. I hate writing about myself, so it ends there. If you know these things, that's pretty much all you need to know.
